The Estuary Derby Night

🐎🏆 Place your bets… we’re off to the races!

Well, we do love an excuse to get everyone together at Cliff House, and this time we’re bringing you something a little different!

Join us for a good old fashioned night at the races, with 8 vintage horse races on the big screen, a little flutter, plenty of cheering and hopefully a few lucky winners!

Choose your horse, place your bets and see if you’ve backed a winner! No racing knowledge needed, just come along, enjoy the fun and perhaps discover your hidden talent for picking a winning nag!

Hats at the ready! We’d love to see a little racing glamour, so dig out your finest hats and dress for the occasion. The winners’ enclosure awaits! Jules will be our commentator for the evening.

Saturday 14 November 2026, 7pm to 10pm
Cliff House, Salcombe
Tickets £10 per person

The Cliff House bar will be open. Bring your own supper, nibbles and friends!

A little plea for some bookies! We’re looking for a few more volunteers to help us on the evening. If you fancy getting involved, please let us know. We really couldn’t make these events happen without our wonderful friends and volunteers!

Following the wonderful support we’ve had at our recent events, we’re hoping to see another fantastic turnout. It’s these evenings that bring people together, create wonderful memories and raise much needed funds to help secure the future of Cliff House for our whole community.

So gather your friends, pick your winning horse and come and enjoy another fabulous evening at Cliff House!

And whatever happens on the racecourse, we’re all backing the same winner… CLIFF HOUSE! ❤️🐎
