Cliff House Trust 200 Club Terms & Conditions

Purpose

The Cliff House Trust 200 Club raises funds for Cliff House Trust Limited (registered charity number: 1146359), supporting the provision and maintenance of Cliff House for the inhabitants of, and visitors to, Salcombe, Devon.

Terms & Conditions

  • Membership costs £5 per month and provides one ticket for each monthly draw in which the relevant subscription has been received and reconciled.
  • Members may purchase multiple tickets.
  • A draw will be held on the first day of each month.
  • Prize money will equal 50% of the subscriptions received for that draw.
  • Prize money will be allocated as follows:
    1st Prize 25%
    2nd Prize 15%
    3rd Prize 10%
  • Membership is open to persons aged 16 or over.
  • Payments must be made by standing order.
  • Subscription payments must be received by the 25th day of the month preceding the draw. Late payments will not be entered into that month's draw and will roll into the following monthly draw once reconciled.
  • Draws will be conducted electronically by the Promoter or their nominee.
  • Winners will be notified using the contact details supplied on their application form.
  • Prize payments will be made to the person registered as the holder of the winning ticket.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted within six months, the prize will be treated as a donation to Cliff House Trust 200 Club and applied for the charitable purposes described above.
  • Cliff House Trust 200 Club will be promoted by Cliff House Friends in support of Cliff House Trust Limited.
  • In the event of any dispute, the decision of Cliff House Trust Limited shall be final.
  • Cliff House Trust Limited and Cliff House Friends reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary. The current version of these Terms and Conditions will be available on the Cliff House website.
  • Members may cancel their participation at any time by cancelling their standing order.
  • No refunds will be payable in respect of subscriptions already received.
  • Any decision to close Cliff House Trust 200 Club will be notified to members at least one month in advance to allow standing orders to be cancelled. Any remaining funds, after payments of outstanding prizes and expenses, will be transferred to Cliff House Trust Limited for its charitable purposes.

Privacy

  • Cliff House Trust 200 Club collects and uses members' names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and membership records solely for administering Cliff House Trust 200 Club, conducting draws, contacting winners, and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or where necessary for the administration of Cliff House Trust 200 Club.
  • Members may separately choose whether they wish to receive information about fundraising activities, events, and other news relating to Cliff House. Participation in Cliff House Trust 200 Club is not conditional upon receiving such communications.
  • Personal information will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for administration, legal, accounting, and audit purposes.

Promoter

The Promoter is the person appointed from time to time by Cliff House Trust Limited to administer Cliff House Trust 200 Club on its behalf. As at the date of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter is Paula Guess. Contact: [email protected].
