Regatta Comedy Night Saturday 10th August 2024

A fundraising event for Salcombe’s iconic Cliff House waterfront venue. We are happy to
announce our third Comedy night Live@Cliff House will take place on Saturday 10 th August of Salcombe Regatta Week.
Doors at 7.30pm, licensed Bar ‘til late.
The night will be hosted by ⭐️Jon Wagstaffe (MC)⭐️a simple country lad from Tewkesbury
Jon Wagstaffe burst onto the scene in May 2011 and has propelled himself quickly into being
a well-known act on the comedy circuit. His mix of high energy and clever writing make
audiences warm to him instantly.

Opening the evening will be ⭐️Richard James⭐️one of the South West’s favourite acts,
Richard is charming and sharp with an eye for brilliant gags. Having been made the finals of
Foster’s Comedian of the Year just two years into his career, he is one to watch out for!
Second up will be ⭐️Charmian Hughes⭐️Charmian studied clowning under Philippe Gaulier
and ‘Theatre de Complicite’ but unable to uphold the mime vow of silence, ran away to play
stand-up comedy clubs throughout the nation entertaining everyone from members of the
Houses of Parliament to ‘Lifers’ in prison (not to be confused).
